Dawson Cole and Amanda

that these two can not be together, but we both very much wanted.
Dawson, who in his youth accidentally killed a man, never get over
it. He lives alone, working on oil rigs and repenting for past guilt.
Amanda, even though she got married and had children, he feels
unhappy. After years of old lovers they meet in the hometown on the
occasion of the funeral of an old friend. The feeling is back
together with his memories.
I think that the book is
very interesting. The author presents mature love between two
people that adversity always separate. Unfortunately, the ending of
the book is very sad. Dawson's dies. His death is the chance to live
of another person - the son of his beloved.
