Palm Trees in the Snow (Spanish: Palmeras en la nieve) is a Spanish romantic drama film, which is based on the novel on the same name by Luz Gabás.

Kilian, his brother Jacobo and his father Antón, they are the Spanish colonialist who raise cocoa.  Kilian, in 1954, returns to the island of Fernando Poó, where he was born. As the last, he joins to the island where works his father and his brother.

The main plot, talks about Kilian and his life, when he lives in Fernando Poó.  First of all, the film talks about his interior change during twenty years.

At first, after Kilian’s arrival to the island he is very afraid and he doesn’t understand a lot of elements of work. For him, the model in the behaviour is his brother, Jacobo. Later, better that his brother, Kilian understands mentality of natives. He knows, that Spanish colonialists mistreat natives and don’t have respect for women. But Killian is different, he appreciates a different culture and he respects other people.

Over time, he falls in love with Bisila. They relationship is very difficult, because they have to hide from other people. This relationship is forbidden because Basila has a husband. They destiny is exaggerated. With political changes he must leaves the island and he can’t never come back.

The Light Between Oceans

The Light Between Oceans is a film based on the novel of the same name by M.L. Stedman.

Tom, came back from a war and he wants to starts a new part in his life. The man, is hired as a lightkeeper in a small desert island. The time, which he spends alone in Janus Rock is very important for him, because he can regain a will to live. Some time after, he falls in love with Isabel. After a short time, they marry and together they move to Janus Rocky.

The newlywed couple are very happy and they want to have a baby. Unfortunately, Isabel loses two pregnancies and fears that never become a mother.  Shortly after, to the island where live Isabel and Tom arrive a small rowboat with a dead men and newborn baby girl. A woman is happy during looking after a girl and she doesn’t want to sent her to orphanage. She beg a Tom into isn’t reporting the fact with rowboat in documents relates with his job. He knows that this is illegal, but he agree. The marriage decide grow up a baby girl (Lucy) like a they own child without to tell a no one a true.

One time, during Lucy’s baptism , Tom sees a young woman in front of grave. His father-in-law tells him that a woman, Hannah lost at sea a husband and a daughter. It was the same day, when they found Lucy. Tom is burn up with guilt, and  he starts to send a letters to Hannah with informations that her doughter is alive. The investigation of police causes that Isabel and Tom are arrested. Later, Tom tells a police that only he is responsible for kidnapping of Hannah’s doughter. Isabel is acquit and she can’t forgive a Tom that he led to reveal they secret and to deprive  a child.  Shortly after, she confesses everything, the whole truth.

A Dog’s Purpose.

A Dog’s Pupose is a American comedy-drama film. Film is based on the novel written by W. Bruce Cameron.

Bailey is a dog, Golden Retriever who shows us his life from his life to his death. During the film, he shows us his reincarnation and his four different dog breeds.

When Bailey was a puppy, was rescued by a young boy, Ethan and his mother. Ethan and a dog were inseparable. He was his friend in difficult moments, for example when Ethan couldn’t communicate with his father and he had a alcoholic problem. When Ethan was a teenager, he becomed a good football player who falls in love with his classmate, Hannah. After a few months, Ethan and Hannah were inseparable. Later, Ethan had very strong argument and he orders his father to leave the house and never come back. In school, teenager had a classmate who was very jealous of his success in sport and he set fire in Evan’s house. A dog, saved Evan and his mother from danger because he started bark. The accident caused that Evan suffered injury of leg and this caused that he had to gave up of sport’s career. He had depression and broke up with Hannah.

During next life, Beley have a different name and a different sex. Ellie, is working with an officer from the police. His owner, Carlos is a man with a problems but he is a good person. One day, while working and saving a young kidnapped girl a dog was shot and died.

In the third life, Beley is a small and very happy dog. He’s new name is Tino and his owner is Maya. This woman is very unhappy and she wants to find true love.

In the last, the fourth life, Beley is a big dog, Buddy and lives with a young couple. Buddy leaves near to Evan’s. One day,  his owner left him in the backwoods. In this moment, Bailey decided to find his first owner, Ethan. A man is very lonly and he leaves in a grandparent’s farm. In the beginning, Ethan doesn’t want to be Buddy’s owner and he leaves him in animal shelter, but later he go back. A dog, is his friend and later he get marry with his first love Hannah. In the end of film, Ethan understood that Buddy is Berley.

The 9th Life of Louis Drax.

The 9th Life of Louis Drax is a supernatural thriller based on Liz Jensen’s novel of the same title.

Louis, is a exceptional child. He is very smart and inteligent for his age. During his short life, he had a lot of accidents. The story begins on Louis 9th birthday when he had a very dramatic accident. A boy fell down from an cliff. The accident was very dangerous and it was a miracle that a boy survived. The accident cause a coma and neurologist Allan Pascal wants to bring Louis back to normal life.

The plot is very interesting because from the beginning responsible for fatal accident is Peter, father o Louis, but this fact differents with the image and bond between father and son. Situation is very difficult because after the accident Peter disappeared.

In the film, the person very mysterious is Natalie, mother of Louis. At first glance, Natalie is a good mother, who loves a lot a child, but it goes without saying that a woman has a secret.

Allan Pascal is spellbound Natalie and he fells compassion. Later, they have an affair and Allan believe a Natalie when she say that her husband is responsible for the accident.

Some time after, Natalie and Allan received few letters with threats. A neurologist wanted to solve a enigma of accident and he with a friend applied a new method of treatment. It turned out, that for an accident was responsible a mother of Louis and before she killed a husband. As well, she was responsible for earlier accidents of Louis.
