Safe Haven.

When in the small town of Southport in the southern United States there is a mysterious young woman, residents ask themselves what prompted her to start life in this isolated place. Beautiful, but introverted Katie works at a local restaurant, and clearly avoids making new friends. He manages to keep a distance until he meets Alex, a widowed store owner and father of two children. Despite herself, Katie has become increasingly involved in family life. But even the purest feeling did not change her past. The woman had good reason to change the identity and escape from Boston. She ran away from her husband who beat her. Now he must decide whether to continue living alone under a false name, or take a risk and fight for their own happiness.

The book is very interesting, it contains an interesting story about a very current topic that is domestic violence. I would like to recommend this book.

The Lucky One

"The Lucky One" tells the story of a man who served in the Marines and was on a mission in Iraq, but - as he admits - narrowly escaped death. Logan finds in fact completely by chance in the desert photo of a woman who has since become his talisman. At the urging of a friend who dies in a tragic accident, a man decides to find the woman in the picture. It turns out that she is a divorcee living in North Carolina, bringing up the ten-year son. Logan from the outset falls in love with a girl from a photo.

The book shows the hero of the struggle the most important thing for him- love. Of course, as always adversity to happiness main characters are facing adversity. The opposite of happiness, Logan and Beth is her ex-husband who is able to do anything to get her back. There is also another misfortune that is the image we have of Logan. Beth does not know he has a picture of her that belonged to her brother who died. He thinks that Logan is also guilty of the death of her brother. Fortunately, all problems will be solved and the characters are together.

I would like to recommend this book.

The Best of Me

Dawson Cole and Amanda Collier. The boy from the pits of social, raised in a family believed to be the worst, most vindictive, the most dangerous in the whole county of Pamlico. And the girl who wants to become a teacher. Differences of origin, upbringing, finally unfriendly people meant that these two can not be together, but we both very much wanted. Dawson, who in his youth accidentally killed a man, never get over it. He lives alone, working on oil rigs and repenting for past guilt. Amanda, even though she got married and had children, he feels unhappy. After years of old lovers they meet in the hometown on the occasion of the funeral of an old friend. The feeling is back together with his memories.

I think that the book is very interesting. The author presents  mature love between two people that adversity always separate. Unfortunately, the ending of the book is very sad. Dawson's dies. His death is the chance to live of another person - the son of his beloved.

A Walk to Remember.

I would like to tell you about one of my favorite books „A walk to remember” by Nicholas Sparks. This is one of my favorite books and the first that I read of this author.

The seventeen-years old boy, Landon Carter taught in the last year of high school in a small town in North Carolina. His father wants to Landon went on to study at the best university, but Landon is not thinking about the future, together with friends leads a carefree life. Meanwhile, the annual ball is approaching, Landon must appear on it, because it is the President of the student council, but does not have anyone to go with. All the girls have already been invited, except for one - Jamie Sullivan. It was a girl quite different than Landon, her father was a pastor, and his mother died in childbirth, leaving the Bible that Jamie always carried with him. At intervals, when all the students happily enjoying themselves, Jamie sat in the corner and read the Scriptures; He did not meet with people your own age, and often helped people visited the children at the orphanage. Landon had no choice, he invited Jamie. Their relationship, however, does not end at the ball, meet on school drama and spend with each other more and more time, but both are afraid to admit that they are in love. Only after exposing the Christmas arts profess their love, but Jamie hides a secret that will completely change their lives. The secret of this incurable disease the girl.

In my opinion, this book has the chance charm. He talks about feeling which connects the two young people who at such a young age must cope with a serious adversity.

When December arrives, all children in Spain and Latin America begin to write their letters to the Three Kings or your favorite King Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar. They ask things they would like the morning of January 6, the day that gifts are distributed, and also have their behavior during the year. If children have been good, they receive gifts, but if they have been naughty receive a lump of coal.
Their Majesties travel by camels and because of this when they come of this, slow to reach Spain. Once here, they visit all the cities and towns, and hear the petitions of the children after the parade. On the night of the 5th, children put their shoes at the door before going to sleep, so the Kings know how many children live there. Also they get something to eat and drink Kings and water and grass for the camels.
On the morning of January 6, the Three Kings Day, children find their gifts in and out of her shoes. On January 6, the children play forward with their gifts of Kings again before starting school. If any member of the family used to give to another, it is typical to visit the homes of relatives and collect presents day. And this is the last day of the Christmas holidays in Spain.
